Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 28, 2026
Novarclabs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the LaneFare platform, a fleet management service for professional chauffeur and limousine operators. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at lanefare.com and any related services, including our mobile applications and APIs.
By accessing or using LaneFare, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you create an organization, we collect the organization name, and any team member details you provide when inviting users.
Client and Operational Data
To provide our services, we store data you enter into the platform, including: client records (company names, contact details, tax identification numbers), ride details (pickup and dropoff addresses, timestamps, fare amounts), vehicle information (make, model, license plates, VIN numbers), and driver profiles (license numbers, availability status).
Location Data
LaneFare collects real-time GPS location data from drivers using the platform during active operations. This data is used for dispatch, proximity-based driver assignment, and live ride tracking. Location data is associated with your organization and is not shared outside of it except with designated partners for forwarded rides.
Financial Information
Subscription payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers. Stripe handles payment information in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We retain transaction references, invoice amounts, and billing history.
Usage and Technical Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including IP addresses, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is collected through server logs and is used to maintain security and improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the LaneFare platform
- Process ride dispatch, driver assignment, and fleet tracking
- Generate invoices and process subscription billing
- Facilitate partner ride forwarding between organizations
- Send transactional communications (ride assignments, invoice notifications, account alerts)
- Monitor for security threats and enforce our terms of service
- Improve the platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your operational data (rides, clients, pricing) for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
Partner Organizations
When you forward a ride to a partner operator through the LaneFare partner network, the relevant ride details (pickup, dropoff, timing, vehicle requirements) are shared with that partner. This sharing is initiated by you and limited to what is necessary to fulfill the ride.
Service Providers
We use third-party services to operate the platform. These include Supabase (database hosting and authentication), Vercel (application hosting), and Stripe (payment processing). Each provider processes data only as necessary to perform their function and is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, in response to a valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Novarclabs, our users, or the public.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Data at rest is stored in managed PostgreSQL databases with row-level security policies that enforce strict tenant isolation — your organization’s data is accessible only to authenticated members of your organization.
API access is protected by hashed API keys with configurable rate limiting and origin restrictions. Authentication tokens are managed through secure, HTTP-only cookies.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Operational data (rides, invoices, client records) is retained for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal and accounting obligations.
Upon account deletion or subscription cancellation, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (such as financial records required for tax compliance).
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
- Request a portable copy of your data
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@lanefare.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies and Tracking
LaneFare uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We do not participate in cross-site tracking or targeted advertising.
8. International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure providers may process data in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. Where data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place through our providers’ data processing agreements and compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
9. Children’s Privacy
LaneFare is a business-to-business service not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use of LaneFare after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
